Maybe I didn't do it right,

Maybe I didn't just realize,
How fucked up you really are.

But now I realize,
The things you do wrong,
The things that are wrong around you,
The things that are done to you,
You do, not me. You act, not me. Your haste, not mine.

It is your loss,
I will stand to be the same,
I will stand to do what I know is right,
I will stand to watch you fail,

But most of all, I will last.
My light will burn, long after I die.
For good does not fade, good does not waste.
Only my human self shall pass, only my human self shall fail.
